HOW TO INSTALL:

  1. Copy these files inside SDCard.
    Note: Don’t keep these files inside any “FOLDERS”.. Just copy it to SDCard root (parent) folder..
  2. Switch off your mobile. PRESS and HOLD 3 BUTTONS (VOLUME UP+HOME BUTTON+POWER BUTTON)
  3. Flash CWR (If you don’t know what is CWR click here)
  4. ClockworkMod Recovery v5.0.2.6 is loaded now.
    Select “install zip from sdcard”
    Select “choose zip from sdcard”
    Scroll and Select “CompactV1.2.5.zip” and select “Yes”
    Wait till the menu appears again..
  5. Select “Reboot system now” and you have successfully installed Compact kernel.

  1. i want to know that how can i remove custom kernal i have restored my backup but compact logo still not deleted how can i remove it.

  2. can i install a costum kernel…and re-install another costum kernel…??? i intasll compact kenel in my device..but this kernel don´t like it to me …. sorry …my english is not very good jejejej

  3. i have gts6102 samsung. i rooted and install techmoduos1.5 rom and kernal. this kernal not support firewall. any update for it? i try compact 1.2.5 kernal but internet connection is stop. every time i try to open any wepsite it say no connection.

  4. 1). I have installed compact kernel on my samsung galaxy y duos but it have a problem..
    it increases brightness to full everytime when i lock my screen..
    what to do please tell me a proper solution for it because its irritating me and dont ask to reinstall the stock rom or original firmware.
    2). How can I change the kernel that is compact, to another one which hasnt this problem
    3).Suggest me the best custom rom to play temple run that have aswesome features and great looks with android version ICS or JB… not like gingericejelly
